The Wiser Frail Care Option

It should put your mind at ease knowing that for the past 25 years, La Gratitude is home to 120 Frail and Physically-Challenged residents from all over South Africa. All persons here past the age of 60 chose to make La Gratitude their home. A place to live their frail years in an environment where all their needs are met.

We spoke to some of the residents to find out what they appreciate about living at the Frail Care Facility. Follow the link below to see what they answered.

Your Well-being, Our Priority

Choose to live your senior live worry-free, and what is more comforting than knowing you have 24hour access to the sickbay and paramedic services. Apart from the possibility of getting sick sometimes, take comfort knowing that your medication is fully managed by qualified people with your health as their priority.

At La Gratitude Frail Care Facility there is no need for those frequent arduous trips to the doctor. With us, you have the benefit of weekly visits from Medical Doctors, Physiotherapists, Speech Therapists and Occupational therapists.

Chronic illness does not have to be a chronic worry. We provide around the clock nursing care for the elderly suffering from illnesses due to normal ageing. This care also extends to residents suffering from frailty, strokes, cancer, HIV/AIDS, Alzheimer’s and Dementia-related diseases and other age-related illnesses.

You can be assured of a better quality of life as a result of the Palliative and preventative Geriatric care services that are offered within a caring and controlled environment.

In selected cases, persons may require rehabilitation after suffering a stroke, (What Else?) and (What Else?). By being a part of the La Gratitude family, these are not circumstances that should concern you beforehand as we are very experienced and fully prepared to provide you with the best care possible. In addition to the care services mentioned here we also provide Respite Care for family members and caregivers to give them planned short-term and time-limited breaks.

Medical conditions and requirements are a widespread topic and we can only mention a few here. If you have specific requirements or any questions regarding how we can help improve your life, feel free to contact us.
