A Safe And Secure Environment

Your peace of mind is important to us and directly contributes to your well-being. That is why security is such an important factor and an integral part of our accommodation.

We have been working closely with the professional Ithemba Security company for a long time. Nothing is more comforting than knowing your home is protected 24/7, all hours of every day.

All the entrances are permanently guarded around the clock with strict access control. Additional security features extend into each apartment to make up the panic button system, the evening tagging system and remote cellphone access.

The Perfect Location

The Flats is situated in a friendly family neighbourhood known as Pioneer Park. It is important to acknowledge our environment where children still ride their bikes freely and families take their afternoon walks.

Pioneer Park is close to the town but just far enough to be out of the rush. Pioneer Park is a settled older residential area, with established roads and trees but not too much traffic. The area is also host to a shopping centre, churches and schools.

Staying Active Within The Flats Community

Not stagnating and staying active is an important part of senior living. Activities are well catered for and you have a variety of activities to choose from. The comforting part of this is that you know the rest of the people joining in these activities are all part of a close-knit community.

Some of the activities available include Putt-Putt, Bowls, Snooker, Darts and Braai Facilities. You also get access to our beautiful gardens with an Aviary and can take on gardening as a hobby.

A Quick Overview Of The Flats

The one hundred and twenty-seven (127) are separated into five (5) Blocks. The block named Glabia is the largest block which consists of six floors, it has its own lift and two flights of stairs for those who are fit and eager to keep their figures in shape.

The blocks named Aristata and Repens are both double-storey flats and have stairs with 24 units accommodated in each one. These five blocks make up our flat’s senior citizen community that provides independent living and assisted living services.

The two smallest blocks are Lorea and Mundi, double stories with twelve (12) units each.

Note: Our flats, constructed in 1974, may not be wheelchair friendly.

Sunroom where a ¾ bed can fit in comfortably. (a spare room for visitors a study, a hobby room, a sewing room etc.)
